ECHOES FROM THE REEKS  (published 2008) is a collection of prose and poetry, of fact, fiction and fantasy.

There are both anecdotes and history about Killorglin itself, as well as flights of the imagination from the local contributors.

This is a book to dip in and out of, and hopefully to return to again and again for relaxation and entertainment.

'ECHOES' includes a ghost story section as a tribute to former chairperson Carol Clifford who died suddenly in Nov 2006.

The pieces certainly make for a colourful mix; indeed a mix which KNIBS hope many will thoroughly enjoy.

RIPPLES FROM THE LAUNE (2004) was the first collection of prose and poetry published by the Knibs Writers Group.

The Killorglin based writers group achieved a target, managed only by a very few other such groups in Ireland. The publication of an anthology of work as a community project is a huge challenge, but clearly not one beyond this team.

For those not familiar with the town of Killorglin, there is both entertainment in the non-local pieces and plenty to intrigue a stranger about one of the friendliest towns in Kerry, and indeed, one steeped in history.

For anyone with a knowledge of the town there will plenty to strike that special chord of familiarity.
